How I started to train
I started training at 15 with my best friend Scott. After school we went to the gym and then to the beach. I will say that in my life there are only two permanent things, which for me are always equally important: real friends and real workouts.
I remember how others said to me: "Why do you go to the gym? You're not fat? ".Indeed, I was a very athletic child, I played basketball, ran a lot, practiced mountain biking and often went camping. But I wanted to get better.
My attitude to training
I train every day, and sometimes several times a day. Although now I'm no longer a fitness coach, I still enjoy working with close friends, I like helping them achieve their goals. The best feeling is to see the desired progress.
I'm not worried about the opinions of others: let them believe that I'm only doing it because I'm selfish and terribly in love with my body. Let them think that training for me is a kind of sublimation. I think that those who think so are too weak to achieve the goal themselves.
What motivates me
I like sports: a gym or an outdoor exercise - it does not matter. The only thing that I like more - learn new techniques of training and teach these techniques to others. Only in this way we grow not only physically, but also morally.
I'll be honest that the primary motivation for me was the guys from the American football team of our school - I saw how quickly they gain muscle mass, and I also wanted to be no worse, and even better than them. I always loved competitions.
Workout on the legs
The task of my training is to increase the muscular mass of the legs together with the development of explosive force and speed. I always ran a lot and did snowboarding, so I did not pay enough attention to the legs, thinking that they were already loaded. But I realized that this was a mistake.
Now I do frontal sit-ups( 5 sets of 5 reps, break between sets 30 seconds, working weight - 60 kg), then stretching legs in the simulator sitting( 5 sets of 10 repetitions, break between sets 60 seconds, working weight 50 kg).
Training on the hands
For me, the day of training hands is a "day off".It's an easy exercise, and I do not even make a hitch at the end. In the end, I just do pull-ups with a wide grip to "hammer" the bicep. Sometimes I add one set of leg exercises: attacks or sit-ups.
I like very much the press of dumbbells for biceps sitting. The main secret of this movement is not to use shoulders, and to control that the elbow is always at one point, and in no way move. In this case, even 20-kilogram dumbbells are enough for pumping.
Do I meet in the gym
I confess honestly that I met with girls whom we met at the gym. But I have a tough rule - if I'm a coach, then the initiative must proceed strictly from her. Just once I went on a date with the girl who coached.
Flirting during training is an exciting activity. You catch her gaze, not quite understanding what she is looking at: her hands?on the press?on shoes? Then you try to finish the training together. But always with headphones, and you never talk to her in the hall.
What my workouts give to me
Now my work is connected with the organization of children's hikes in the mountains, skiing and snowboarding, as well as hiking on yachts to the ocean. I am responsible for the children, I must be ready for any surprises, and training allows you to become stronger.
When six years ago I became a personal trainer, everyone told me that it was "just a phase," and it will pass, I will outgrow it. Now I'm 26, and I'm in the best physical shape in my entire life. My body is what allows me to live the life that I want to live.
